After a very competitive day of basketball, the Men's Open champions were Brian Keefe (WHS's all-time leading scorer), Quinton Dale (current WHS varsity coach and former Northeastern star), and Jason Noel and Mike Williams (two of Bryant College's all-time leading scorers). The Boys' High School champions were Mike Marinella, Freemon Romero, Sam Davidson, and Sal Abdo (a collection of St. Mark's players). The 3-Point Contest was won by Jeremy Currier (a former New Hampshire High School State Player of the Year who led the nation in 3-point shooting while at Endicott College) and the Free Throw Contest was won by Mansfield's Mike Vaughan.
Friends of Peter who put in a lot of effort recruiting players and also playing in the event were Brian Keefe, Kirk Minihane, Jamie Morrison, and Quinton Dale (Pete's WHS coach). All proceeds from the tournament (just under $1,300) went to the Peter French Memorial Foundation.
